mom, thank you

during our teen years

we try to develop a sense of individuality

we see ourselves as all knowing, perfect, never wrong, correct in every wrong decision, own effort for all our successes

and… most importantly,

we never look back to see our parents

but today, it didn’t take some crazy lecture from my mom to make me understand this

it took just a simple story from chicken soup for parents to understand this fact that was clouded from the narrow perspective of an arrogant teenager.
